Upstate Sports Group exists to make local youth sports more accessible, sustainable, and community-centered. We operate and improve athletic facilities, support youth organizations with practical guidance, and reinvest our resources into better opportunities for athletes, teams, coaches, and families.
How We Serve
We facilitate, prepare, schedule, and maintain High Acres Sports Complex so local youth teams and organizations have a safe, dependable place to practice and compete. Our work includes field preparation, mowing, lining, upkeep, scheduling, and facility coordination.
High Acres currently serves organizations throughout the Fairport community, including youth baseball, football, cheer, and lacrosse programs.

The Turf Barn
Youth Sports Consulting
The Turf Barn provides local teams and athletes with practical indoor training space when outdoor fields are unavailable. It creates year-round access for practices, small-group training, and development across multiple sports.
We help youth sports organizations operate more effectively. Our consulting work provides local programs with practical tools, research, planning, communication systems, policies, scheduling support, budgeting guidance, and facility knowledge.
Our current focus is helping youth programs and leagues. Over time, we plan to expand our support to more coaches, teams, athletes, and families navigating the youth sports experience.
A Sustainable Model for Greater Impact
Serving more children requires more than good intentions. It requires dependable facilities, responsible leadership, stable funding, and a model that can last.
Upstate Sports Group combines facility revenue and consulting income with grants, sponsorships, partnerships, and donations. These resources help us:

Build the financial stability needed to serve more children each year
Our goal is not growth for the sake of growth. It is to create a sustainable organization that can continually reinvest in local youth sports.
Our vision is to develop a permanent indoor facility at High Acres Sports Complex and make it the central home of Upstate Sports Group.
This year-round hub would provide dependable practice space, team rentals, coach education, workshops, meetings, storage, and future community programming. By bringing outdoor fields, indoor space, organizational support, and youth sports education together in one location, we can create stronger opportunities for local athletes and the people who serve them.

Youth sports should not require families to travel long distances or join expensive private programs simply to access quality facilities, coaching, and competition. Local leagues and community teams are where many young athletes first learn to compete, build confidence, form relationships, and develop a lasting connection to sports.
We help keep those opportunities close to home by providing the spaces, tools, research, and support that local programs need to succeed. Upstate Sports Group is not trying to replace existing leagues or become another high-cost youth sports organization. We are here to strengthen the people and programs already serving their communities.
